Whilst Mechlift is primarily a total system and after-sales support supplier in Southern Africa, we do offer a technology support, and sub-system supply, outside of this traditional market. Our long experience in harsh "developing country" conditions and our association with Europe's leading lifter supplier have led to machines that give top class performance and durability even though they are produced with less-advanced technologies. We can offer OEM services at two levels: Hardware and Information . . .
Most of our equipment is modular, and a particular module or subsystem can be used in more than one product line. As an example, the ML805 was designed as a module and exported to a system supplier. The ML150 started as vehicle-mounted system here, but is also now used in some foreign factories for tipping chemicals, and in a large local industrial bakery.
Our ML220 contains 2 lifting/tipping modules side-by-side which are eminently suitable for fast, high-level handing of containers up to 150kg [330 #] . While these are currently fitted only where EN840-1 (comb-lift) bins are used, we can work together to adapt them for ANSI Z245.60 (bar lift) carts.
Our manaufacturing processes are well documented in English, using the standard software of AutoCAD (2D only), Excel & Word. We use the metric system of measurements. In the few foreign countries that our data and documentation is already used, there have been few misunderstandings. Our technologies are suitable for countries on a par with South Africa's industrial and labour base. We do consider requests to manufacture our products under licence in countries where we are not stongly represented at present.
If you want to pursue these options, please contact Gerald Dorrington (the Managing Director) at gerald(at)mechlift.com. We assure you of frank discussions, respecting your needs for confidence and discretion.
