Recommended Mounting Instructions:

The correct mounting height is 650mm from the ground level to the base of the lifter's frame
The base of the lifters frame refers to the four plates which are welded to the top chute plate (reference A)
It is recommended to make a trestle with a height of 650mm and rest the lifter on this trestle whilst welding it to the vehicle
Add four gussets (reference B)
The sill of the vehicle should be suitably reinforced

It will also be necessary to install a pipe across the hopper for the containers to bump against when tipped.

Where a very low rave rail is encountered, it may need extending. Contact Mechlift in this regard.

Other:

The ML 450 has been designed to handle the tough local conditions and stand up to abuse. Due to the limited number of moving parts, maintenance is kept to a minimum and a longer life expectancy can be achieved. No exposed cylinder rods to be damaged or ingest dirt.
