Envicomp market a full range of proven certified "Dynamic" Identification & Weighing systems for waste. We are the market leader for Pay-By-Weight (PBW) Technology in Ireland.

Envicomp are the market leaders of intelligent "wheel-bin" based weighing systems for waste. Waste is identified and weighed to DIN 30744 via a passive RFID micro-chip. RFID Chips can be fitted at factory or retro-fitted "in the field" to all wheel bins, skips, containers. They can also fit to FEL's and REL's.

We offer 3 RFID Chip technologies:

Read-Write (RW)
Read-Only (RO)
One-Time Programmable (OTP)

As of 2004 Envicomp are the world leader in this environmental technology and our track record is second to none:
3m RFID Chips in use
On 800 Vehicles
Using 45 Lifter Types
100 Municipalities/Communities

In Ireland our technology is in use with the following clients:
Cork County Council (Western Division)
Kerry County Council
Killarney Town Council
Greenstar
Mayo County Council

Our project in Cork County Council is the leading Pay By Weight Project in the UK and Ireland. Householders are paying an annual charge of approx €140 and €0.33 per KG of Waste presented.

The benefits since 2003 have been as follows:
Waste presentation is down by 40%
Recycling Fractions are up 43%
The Councils operating costs for Waste Collection are falling
