Came across your website while browsing and the EL21 caught my eye. I am sure it is going to have applications even outside the waste industry. Reading you literature I have the following questions ....... .. is a three phase model available? .. if yes, what power plug is fitted? .. what size tyres are fitted? Will it be able to traverse a 75mm step in a concrete apron without damage to the tyres? .. From what material are the tyres made viz. plastic / rubber / polyurethane on steel? Our enviroment is prone to oil spillages Your video played in Windows Media Player shows no movement of the machine for the duration of the video. I do not want to download any fancier software. Perhaps you can guide me getting the standard Player I have to work.

Good Morning Skipmaster, I'm happy to hear that the EL 21 caught your eye. To answer your questions: - Currently we only have the single-phase model, however I foresee no problem in manufacturing a three-phase model - Being client specific you would be able to choose which plug you require - The wheels are 160mm in diameter, so they will not easily handle a 75mm step, however larger wheels could be fitted, say 250mm. Bear in mind this will increase the overall height. - The standard wheels are made from elastic rubber on nylon, which could withstand some oil but I would recommend we use a polyurethane or polyamide version. Again it should be no hassle to modify. With regard to the media player, I'm afraid that it is not really my field. I have tested it on versions 6.4 through to 9 and it works fine. I can imagine though if your connection is slow that it may take a while to download. The file is just over 500kb. The animated image should be able to give you an idea of how the movement works. Otherwise if you are welcome to come and visit us for a demo.
We can't increase the overall height of the EL21, because then, when the lifter is fully lowered, the lifter comb will be too high to receive a bin. For bigger wheels we will have to cut the upright tubes shorter - a simple enough modification. (The media player worked on my slow home computer, but I had to be very patient)

Thank you for the prompt and concise reply. As a suggestion, why not add the standard wheel diameter and tyre type to your brochures? This makes the brochure just that more complete. Bins do not yet feature with our clients but at least I have made contact with the handling equipment. For the rest, your website has great intelligent topics and I look forward to seeing more discussion. What I do find is that pages give a very 'busy'and almost 'condensed' appearance. Any chance of increasing text size just a shade? Congrats on a very informative site !!

Skipmaster, I have been in contact with the castor manufactures with regard to the current wheels with standing oil contact. Unfortunately being rubber based it won't like it, however they have assured me that the polyurethane wheels would be fine. I will also add the relevant info to the brochure and look into increasing the text size (no promises here, as the current size is considered to be the "norm"), thanks for your comments
