LiftLogger

 Website | Sample Reporting

Do you know where and when your refuse truck actually collected waste from wheelie bins today?

LiftLogger is a monitoring device that reports the work output of your bin lifters, using GPS technology and internet communication direct to any number of PC's in any location.

LiftLogger can furthermore log the identification numbers of RFID transponder tags fitted to your wheelie bins.

.

The LiftLogger is independent of the vehicle's complex electronics system, requiring only a power feed from the battery to the rear of the truck where LiftLogger is mounted to the lifter. Installation is straightforward and can be done on a DIY basis. The system has a robust proximity switch on each side of the lifter that determine when a bin has been lifted with a high degree of certainty.

Examples of typical applications of the data:

  • Check bin collecting tempo per hour to see if lifter equipment is becoming faulty
  • See if Smith Street was indeed visited by the truck, and if so, at what time.
  • Notice that factory XYZ now has double the number of bins than the week before.
  • Calculate how long it takes to empty a load at a distant
    dumpsite.
  • Correlate employees overtime sheets to the time and place of first and last bin lifted.
  • See if suburbs need to be reallocated to different vehicles to balance the loading on the whole fleet

How many bins in this street? . . .
